The BIG BAG dosing station

A large number of manufacturers offer equipment for BIG BAG emptying. If you look at the details, you can see major differences between the individual concepts. This is largely due to customer-specific requirements. It is particularly difficult when it comes to so-called “problematic” bulk materials, whether they are poorly flowing, bridge-forming, cohesive, fibrous or block-forming. In addition, emptying the BIG BAG is usually not enough. The material must also be transported to the point of use, often over long distances, and if possible weighed and dosed.
There are also invaluable advantages when the entire technology for the process steps of emptying, dosing and conveying is combined in a single compact device. As a result of these considerations, DASAG Verfahrenstechnik – Anlagenbau developed its BIG BAG dosing station
with powder pump.

The main application of our BIG BAG dosing station is the direct, preferably batchwise feeding of processing machines with weighed products directly from the container.
